Color Story: Orange and Gray

What is it about this color combination?  I came to adore orange fairly recently, and the honeymoon is still on for us.  Gray, on the other hand, is like my dependable husband for a million years:  I appreciate gray, and am glad to have it, but it doesn’t get my motor running like when we first met.  So this marriage (or am I a bigamist now?) is perfect:  hot, sexy orange with proper, conservative gray.

    Hello Denise!
    I do love this combination: something about the blue toned muted grey with a strong complimentary orange definitely packs a punch. I would love to see more outfit choices out there in these hues! :)

    I also had a question for you- by any chance, is Bombshell hiring associates? I thought it wouldn’t hurt to ask. I am a business and apparel design double major at UST, and I am looking for a great retail work experience. If I am lucky to hear back, and am able to apply, I would love to do so.

      Hi Yevette, Thanks for your comment. I, too, would love to see more choices, but I think this is one combination we’re going to have to put together ourselves.

      As for your question regarding hiring, at the present time I am not hiring. But since you’re at St. Thomas (or so it appears!), why don’t you stop into Bombshell sometime and introduce yourself? We could meet and chat about other opportunities that might present themselves at Bombshell in the future.

    Love this color combo!! Trying to sell it to the family…want to paint our front porch a shade of orange, against a very common lt. gray siding. Porch and house has white trim. I think a shade of orange will make it pop. Thinking a “dusty orange”…thanks for your photos. Hope my house comes out as nice!
